The Coastside Aquatics Center is offering free beginning swim lessons to children and teens who live on the San Mateo County Coast! Lessons take place from June 17 to July 25! Lessons will be at the Half Moon Bay High School pool (200 Lewis Foster Drive). Swimming is an essential life skill that must be taught to everyone, especially in the Half Moon Bay Coastside coastal towns.

All children must be at least 50 inches (4 ft – 2in) or taller in height and Parent or guardian must accompany child to sign waivers on the first day! Lessons will introduce students to basic personal life saving aquatic skills so they will be safe and enjoy being around water. The skills that will be taught are floating, the flutter kick, swimming on the from and back, jumping into water, treading, and basic diving.
