OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Reports to the President/CEO

Description

The main focus of this position is to support the operations of the Opportunity Center of the Coastside (OCC) and the Chamber. This position works directly with the CEO in varied tasks and activities to support the center, the entities within, and the community as a whole.

The Operations Coordinator is the key team member in supporting the daily activities of the Opportunity Center and maintaining the facility’s various components.

The general workweek shall be Monday – Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm with a one-hour lunch. Some early morning, night, and weekend work will be needed for special meetings and events.

PAY RATE: $75,000 Annually, Non-Exempt
HOURS: 40 per Week
VACATION: 2 Weeks Annually
PAID TIME OFF: 40 Hours Annually -or- the CA minimum, whichever is more.

Duties Include

  • Supporting the Opportunity Center operations which includes the Chamber Office, Business Center, and Workforce Center by…
    • Open the Center weekdays at 9 AM.
    • Close up the Center weekdays at 6 PM.
    • Coordinate the daily room rentals with clients and maintain the master room calendar.
    • Help answer phones and walk-ins.
    • Help clients of the other OCC partners when they are busy or away to ensure a client is not lost in the shuffle or frustrated.
    • Work with contractors and vendors to help facilitate maintenance of the OCC facility and Chamber operations.
    • Prep/Tidy the meeting room, classroom, and tech studio before and after each time the space is used.
    • Tidy/Light cleaning as needed to help maintain professional tidy common spaces.
    • Create and send contracts and invoices as they relate to the OCC.
    • Create and send reports as they relate to the OCC.
    • Run weekly team meetings with the OCC partners.
  • Help Chamber staff with event planning and facilitation as needed.
  • Help Chamber staff with weekly communications to the community through various outlets such as email campaigns, social media, and our website.
  • Help with Chamber Partner and Business engagement as needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the CEO.
