Our Chamber advocates for local businesses, provides resources for growth, and fosters connections that drive economic development. By supporting the Chamber, you help create jobs, encourage entrepreneurship, and build a thriving, connected community where businesses and residents can prosper together.
Why We Struggle for Funding…
As a 501(c)6 nonprofit, we do not qualify for most grants, and the money we receive is not a charitable tax deduction. These reasons make it very difficult to raise money and leaves us with three primary avenues for fundraising which are harder and harder to come by; paying members, running events, and contracted services.
As time goes on, each of our three main sources of income become dryer and dryer due to so many wonderful nonprofits needing to rely on the same types of revenue to survive. As the Chamber, it is our duty and joy to support those nonprofits. We just also need support. Your help keeps us going.
