“Tuesday is ‘National Voter Registration Day,’ a reminder to check your registration status and an opportunity to spread the word about the importance of preparing for ‘Election Day‘ by registering to vote.
It takes only minutes to register to vote or to check your registration status.
California allows 16- and 17-year-olds to preregister to vote before they are eligible to cast their ballot. If a teenager you know will be 18 by ‘Election Day’ – Nov. 5 – they will be able to vote. Learn more about online preregistration.
