The California Building Standards Commission (CBSC), on its own behalf and that of the Division of the State Architect, Department of Housing & Community Development, Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development, and the Office of the State Fire Marshal, is providing notice of code changes intended for the 2022 California Building Standards Code Supplement. The regulations were heard by the Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical & Energy (PEME) Code Advisory Committee.

CBSC will accept written comments for at least 45 days between April 21 and June 5, 2023. All written comments for this period must be submitted no later than midnight on June 5, 2023.
