Supporting Local Business In-Person
Our Chamber office and CA Welcome Center HMB (Visitor Center) reside at 508 Main Street as of 2026. Since moving, we have seen a significant rise in walk-ins. Roughly 95% the walk-ins ask for direct recommendations and community info. More than 90% of those individuals walk out with some peice of local collatteral, many of whom gather so many magazines and brochures that we give them a bag to hold it all! We also mail relocation and visitor packets full of our Chamber Partner's brochures and the annual Coastside Guide.
Supporting Local Business Online
Our Coastside 411 website performance is strong in early 2026, with Q1 page views exceeding 20,000 monthly and user engagement trending upward. While 2025 marked a peak year, current metrics show the site sustaining much of that momentum. Traffic is driven primarily by direct visits, far outweighing search, email, social, and referral channels, which points to strong brand recognition or repeat visitation. The homepage, job listings, and event-related pages continue to attract the most interest, highlighting a focus on employment and community engagement.
Social media engagement grew strongly in early 2026, with posting activity more than doubling from January to March and total views peaking in March and April across Facebook, Instagram, and Nextdoor. Average views per post remained consistent, while follower counts remained positive as Facebook followers increased to 2,492 (+65) and Instagram followers reached 1,776 (+13) since January 2026. Email marketing performance was also strong, with 494 subscribers, an impressive 65% average open rate, and a 7% average click-through rate, indicating high audience engagement across digital channels.
