Housing and Community Development Committee

President of the Board of Supervisors Dave Pine announced that applications are being accepted for appointment to the Housing and Community Development Committee. There are currently three (3) vacancies: One (1) representing Member-At Large; One (1)
representing Unincorporated North Fair Oaks; and One (1) representing Low Income member representative. To be eligible, applicants must be a resident of the County of San Mateo living in Unincorporated North Fair Oaks for the first vacant seat, second vacant seat qualifying by living in a low-income community; and third vacant seat must be a resident of the County of San Mateo.

This fifteen-member committee makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors, through the Director of the Department of Housing, related to the expenditure of all housing and community development funds to review and provide a forum for public comment on affordable housing and community development needs.

There will be a minimum of four formal public meetings per fiscal year.
