March 5th Election Information

If you’re registered to vote, you should soon be receiving your ballot in the mail for the upcoming March 5 Presidential Primary Election. Please keep an eye on your mailbox and be sure to get your ballots so you can vote!

Where to Vote

You can mail in your ballot, or drop it off at a ballot drop box or at any Vote Center in San Mateo County. Didn’t receive a ballot? You can request one from the County or pick one up at a Vote Center. If you have questions about your registration or the election, please visit the San Mateo County elections website.

Vote Centers / Ballot Drop Boxes

  • Half Moon Bay’s 11-Day Vote Center, located at the Emergency Operations Center, 537 Kelly Avenue, will be open February 24 to March 5 (open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, then 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on March 5).
  • A 4-day Vote Center will open at the Half Moon Bay Library, 620 Correas Street, March 2 – March 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on March 5 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • A Pop-Up Vote Center will be open at Maverick’s House, 107 Broadway, on March 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on March 5 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • A Mobile Vote Center will be located at the Half Moon Bay Airport, 9850 Cabrillo Highway, open March 2 – March 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on March 5 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  • City Hall, 501 Main Street (in the parking lot)
  • New Leaf Community Market, 150 San Mateo Road (inside)
  • Half Moon Bay Library (inside)
