The Savage Bond Band at Odd Fellows

Rooted in tradition yet fresh and new, SAVAGE BOND is an “AmeriCali” band featuring fun and soulful original Americana songs with Old-Time, Bluegrass, Folk, and a little Country in the mix. Their new album, AmeriCali Alley is 24 tracks of original Americana and Bluegrass fun.
As performers and artists, the band is always working up fresh material and exploring new frontiers for American music, expressing, from its very core, creativity, heart, and fun.
Savage Bond builds on its long tenure in the NorCal music scene, as Alan Bond (mandolin, guitar) played with the foundational 1970s band Oakum for 12 years and with San Francisco-based Dark Hollow. Hope Savage (rhythm guitar) fronted and did the songwriting for East Bay favorite, The Hopeful Romantics and hosted Americana Sundays at Armando’s. Tom Lucas (banjo, fiddle, bass) toured, nationally and internationally, with the Earl Brothers and Crooked Jades.
