Starting Monday, July 15, the nomination period for two City Council seats will open for the November 5, 2024 general municipal election. Registered voters living in Districts 2 or 3 (find your district here) who are interested in running for City Council are eligible to take out nomination papers.
Nomination papers are available by appointment only at City Hall. The deadline to file all required nomination documents is August 9, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. For more information or to make an appointment to obtain nomination papers, please contact Jessica Blair, Communications Director/City Clerk, at [email protected].
Following the close of the nomination period, the City will share with the community the list of certified candidates for the upcoming election. Additional election information will be provided throughout the next few months prior to Election Day.
