Wind down after a busy week and enjoy a glass of wine while listening to all original music spanning a range of genres!
This Friday, we will be joined by Savage Bond!
Rooted in tradition yet fresh and new, Savage Bond is an “AmeriCali” band featuring fun and soulful original Americana songs with Old-Time, Bluegrass, Folk, and a little Country in the mix.
Savage Bond builds on its long tenure in the NorCal music scene, as Alan Bond (mandolin, guitar, dobro) played with the foundational 1970s band Oakum for 12 years and with San Francisco-based Dark Hollow. Hope Savage (rhythm guitar) fronted and did the songwriting for East Bay favorite, The Hopeful Romantics and hosted Americana Sundays at Armando’s. Tom Lucas (banjo, fiddle, bass) toured nationally and internationally with the Earl Brothers and Crooked Jades.
As performers and artists, the band is always working up fresh material and exploring new frontiers for American music, expressing, from its very core, creativity, heart, and fun.
