On Thursday April 4th at 4:30 PM, join us at Mac Dutra Park at the intersection of Main &  Kelly Streets in Half Moon Bay to celebrate National Poetry Month with spoken word, poetry, and storytelling. The mic will go live at 5 PM. We will be joined by the Poet Laureate of San Mateo County and renowned children’s book author, Jorge Argueta.

Join us at Speakers’ Space – Half Moon Bay as we help kick off the 2024 Make it Main Street Series in celebration of National Poetry Month! We’ll be hosting our beloved open mic along with a light snacks and bevs to add to the Poets’ Potluck, and gift card to new readers thanks to the support of New Leaf Community Markets, Coastside Farmers’ Market in Half Moon Bay Thank you, for one, to the City of Half Moon Bay Parks & Rec Department,  and The San Mateo Office of Arts & Culture & Half Moon Bay Winery for supporting this soft launch of the 2024 Make it Main Street Series.
