PUT SOME SWING IN YOUR SPRING!
Bay Area singer, guitarist, and song-sleuth Sylvia Herold sings jazz and popular songs form the 1930s through the ‘60s. This special program features songs of spring; birds, bees, and love in bloom. Celebrate Earth Day and luxuriate in the beautiful melodies and lyrics of the marvelous big band and musical theater treasuries.
She will be joined by renowned Bay Area jazz guitarist Mike Wollenberg—who has performed with such greats as Clarence Gatemouth Brown, Juice Newton, Jethro Burns, and the David Grisman Quintet—and by Bay Area jazz bassist Chuck Ervin.
General admission donation of $30. Wine, beer and other beverages will be available for purchase.
