PUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS   NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The San Mateo County Harbor District will receive bids for the Burnham Strip Overflow Parking Lot Project #2025-02. Prospective Bidders are directed to the San Mateo County Harbor District’s website (smharbor.com) for further information. To inspect and obtain the Bid Documents or for additional information, please contact San Mateo County Harbor District, Capital Improvements Projects by email at jmoren@smharbor.com or on the website at www.smharbor.com. Bid Proposals shall be submitted to the San Mateo County Harbor District Director of Operations at jmoren@smharbor.com no later than 2:00 p.m. on April 30, 2025. PROJECT BID SPECIFICATIONS ARE IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE on the District’s website at https://www.smharbor.com/bid-on-a-job. A pre-bid conference and site visit will take place on April 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81968507044?pwd=gz3FAu3E6IPacFJGXC3nJQHCTa3hxY.1.  Passcode: 516198 Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) at the time of bid, or else the bid may be rejected as non-responsive. (See Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1.) For federally funded projects, the contractor and subcontractors must be registered at the time of contract award. (See Labor Code section 1771.1(a)). Each bidder must submit proof of contractor registration with DIR (e.g. a hard copy of the relevant page of the DIR’s database found at: https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search). This Contract is subject to monitoring and enforcement by the DIR pursuant to Labor Code Section 1771.4.
