SMC Parks Commission – District 3 Vacancy – Application Deadline: May 19, 2023

President of the Board of Supervisors announced that applications are being accepted for appointment to the Parks and Recreation Commission. There is currently one (1) vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Commission representing District 3, Supervisor Ray Mueller’s district. To be eligible, applicants must be a resident of the County of San Mateo and reside in the District 3 boundaries. To ensure eligibility, find your district at https://bos.smcgov.org.

The Parks and Recreation Commission is an advisory body that makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors regarding efforts to enhance parks, recreational and educational opportunities. The Parks and Recreation Commission meets on the 1st Thursday of every month, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, in the Parks Redwood Conference Room at 455 County Center, 4th Floor, Redwood City.
