The Division of the State Architect (DSA) has revised the following Interpretation of Regulations (IR) pertaining to the IR 16 series which are available on the DSA Publications webpage.

IR 16-1: Relocatable Buildings and Modular Elevator Towers: 2022 CBC

The significant changes to this document include:

• Section 5.4.2 was added to require that the design professional in responsible charge observe the building to be relocated and provide written verification that the building is in good condition prior to project approval.
• Section 5.4.6.4 was removed and information about relocatable foundations was moved to Section 5.4.7.2
• Section 5.4.7.2 was added to clarify that DSA will accept foundation designs that were approved with the original relocatable PC building.
