NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF SECOND MODIFIED TEXT OF PROPOSED REGULATIONS CONCERNING

CITATION AND REMEDIAL TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR DEALERS

The Bureau of Automotive Repair (Bureau) is providing notice of modifications made to proposed regulation 16 CCR sections 3394.25-27; 3394.40-46; 3394.50-55; and 3395.7-10 related to Citation and Remedial Training Programs for Automotive Repair Dealers. These regulations were originally noticed on October 7, 2022.

The Bureau will accept written comments on the proposed modifications between April 24, 2023 and May 9, 2023. All written comments should be submitted to the following:

Please note, comments should be restricted to the most recent modifications made to the proposed regulations. The Bureau is not required to respond to comments on other aspects of the proposed regulations received in response to this notice.

Any comments previously submitted remain in the rulemaking file and will be responded to by the Bureau’s staff as part of the Final Statement of Reasons. All written comments received by May 8, 2023, that pertain to these modifications will be reviewed and responded to by the Bureau’s staff as part of the compilation of the rulemaking file.

This notice is given pursuant to the requirements of Government Code section 11346.8, subdivision (c), and California Code of Regulations, title 1, section 44.
