The City recently completed Phase 1 of its Climate Action and Adaptation Plan process, which documents how Half Moon Bay plans to collaborate with partners and achieve State climate goals. In this phase, the City created a Climate Action Plan, which includes a roadmap to create new programs, services, and policies that will support our community in taking actions that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The Climate Adaptation Plan is Phase 2 of this process, to help create a sustainable and resilient Half Moon Bay.

There will be multiple opportunities to chat with City staff about your thoughts on climate adaptation in Half Moon Bay, and how the City can get better prepared for the future. The City will be hosting three open houses for the community to learn about this plan and listen to your insights.
